TCU Summer Music Institute

The TCU Summer Music Institute brings together middle school, high school, collegiate, and adult musicians for a transformative summer of learning, performance, and artistic growth. With eight distinctive programs, festivals, and certification programs — Texas Chamber Music Institute, PianoTexas, Band, Choir, Harp, Woodwinds, Percussion, and Vocal Pedagogy — SMI offers pathways for developing young artists as well as advanced training for emerging professionals. Participants work closely with TCU’s renowned faculty and guest artists, build confidence through hands‑on music‑making, and join a vibrant Horned Frog community dedicated to excellence.
